Do you think the problem that she is under investigation will have a negative affect upon McCain.

I think it won't turn of Republicans, but Independents are much more worried about corruption and they will want to know a lot more.

  1. no, it will help, once the facts come out

  2. Sarah Palin has now hired an attorney to represent her and her staff in the investigation.  It seems also that her story about what took place has changed as time went on.  First she was saying that no one had contacted anybody in the Department of Public Safety regarding firing her ex-brother-in-law, then she changed that to yes, contacts were made but she didn't know that anyone had contacted DPS and lately it has been that she knew that some had contacted DPS but had done so just to keep abreast of what was going on lol.

The longer it stays in the news, the worse for the McCain campaign because it at least casts a negative shadow on his VP choice each time the investigation is mentioned.

Considering her lack of real experience and the issues surrounding her and her family, I am not sure why McCain chose her instead of the other available candidates.
