That's, of course, a bit off the wall,

but the fact that Palin claimed that the $30B gas pipeline she supported was god's will, and that the Iraq war is god's will, does indicate that she is either:

1.  A prophet who knows what the almighty wants, or

2.  is invoking the name of the almighty in order to support her politics.

#2 I understand, but #1, if true, could be pretty scary.

Actually that line was used earlier than that. Christianity just stole it form some other myth or religion.
