Will Palin be hurt by any skeletons in her closet and dent McCain's presidential bid?

According to news sources she -

Abuse of powers to get brother in law fired (under investigation right now in Alaska?)

She initially supported earmarks for bridge to nowhere, the bridge plan was dropped but she kept the earmarks for other items.

She has limited for experience policy - unlike Biden.

  1. Yes, I think she is really ruining things for McCain.  She has been in politics a short time and look at all the scandals already.  I think she is shady.


  2. She skipped church one as a kid.

    She may have eaten another kids apple in the 3rd grade.

    And worst of all, she has used pictures of the DNC for target practice.

  3. I guess you forgot the thing thats been on the news since sometime over the weekend...Her 17 year old daughter is pregnant...Duh...Remember the Republicans line of abstinence...

  4. I think it will affect the election (unless Palin is found not guilty).

    Also Ted Stevens trial is supposed to start soon.  At the least, these are distractions.  

    Presently, Bristol's unwanted pregnancy is being scrutinized.  If my 17 year-old unwed daughter were pregnant, I would decline to run for office until she was situated.  I would love my daughter more than my career.    

  5. Not to mention her own preacher issues, which I hope the media jumps on. The guy said that he hates criticism of Bush, adding that it is much like criticizing the pastor, which won't get you anywhere, except h**l. He also questioned the salvation of anyone who supported Kerry and has couched the Iraq war in the terms of a God-ordained holy war.  

  6. Only if stories continue to roll out.  The "trooper gate" may turn out to be simply pay back from people who are angry with her in Alaska.  The bridge to nowhere lies will surely bite her on the butt.  She definitely wasn't upfront about the earmarks she sought as Mayor of Wasilla.

  8. She also tried to get a librarian fired when she wouldn't pull some books off the shelf.  I guess burning the books would be bad PR.
