Will Paylen really help McCain?

i realize "energizing the conservative base" is part of the plan, but as far as being a women, will it really help to have paylen? i got the impression Hilary voters were not so big on women in general just Hilary HERSELF. am i missing something or is mccain just stupid?

Its Palin and you sound pretty stupid now.  Energizing the base is the key to win an election.  Since Palin has signed on, McCain has raised 7 million in 2 days.  All those conservatives, who were sitting on the sidelines jumped on board.  They are the worker bees of the party.  They will get out the vote, make phone calls, knock on doors and do the work it takes to get out the vote.

McCain is convinced that Hillary's supporters liked her because she was a woman and therefore those votes are up for grabs.  Why?  Because Hillary was robbed of not only the Presidential nod depsite getting more votes, but she was also snubbed in the VP selection.  If you can't vote for one woman, why not another?  It makes sense at some level.  But what McCain should have learned from the past couple of elections is that women don't vote for women because of their gender; they vote the same way men do, according to the platform and the candidate.

I was not energized to vote. I didnt think I was going to go out and do it this year. Then McCain announced a woman who's views are so much like mine to be his VP. I AM READY!!! ELECTION DAY COME!
