If a doctor was looking for Vikodin in my blood and had ate a few percocet a few days before going into the doctors office, Would it show up as the same chemical used for vikodin? Basically will a doctor catch that i had ate percocet and not vikodin? Will they be both classified as a opiate?

  1. It will show up in the urinalysis.

  2. Depends on the test. If it tests for opiates, it will not differentiate, since both are classed as opiates. If the test is more specific, it could differentiate, since they are slightly different in structure. However, I doubt a doctor's test will be that specific.

It will show up that you took a medicine.
