  1. He is too schizophrenic for Pro. Too me, me. Too i i. Too collegiate.

He seems to lose control too often. Coaches who are bouncing around like bed bugs are not suited for PRO.

    PLUS

Why would one leave the top college program around for pro.

More people like you in college.

And most players are not smarter than you are.

  2. Never say never, but I think he'd be crazy if he did!  He's got one of the best gigs going in college football.  He's always got a strong team loaded with talent.  He's getting paid extremely well.  He's had excellent success and he doesn't have to deal with all the c**p that goes with being an NFL Head Coach.

  3. Probably, but that would be a mistake. He's got the whole city of LA to himself while he's at USC. He's been a flop on the pro level and was fortunate to walk into this situation. Now whether or not it's all been on the up and up is another subject for discussion some other time...

  4. If he's smart he'll stay away from the NFL. He's got a great thing going for him at USC. And after the Nick Satan (Saban) and Bobby Pusstrino (Petrino) fiasco, NFL teams aren't gonna go near college guys for a while.

  5. Lets all hope so! Who wouldn't want to see good-ole Pete coaching in the NFL to the point where one season his team goes completely winless?

  6. At this point, it seems that way.

USC might be well on its way to yet another national title run and recruits are still pouring in.

  7. I don't see him leaving unless some NFL team throws a lot of money at him. Some coaches like college football since they are the stars of the team, not the players.

  8. He isn't going anywhere.  He seems to relate better to the college game and players.  He is a god at USC and has total control of the football program.  As a pro he was a below average coach and they rarely have total control.

  9. He'll stay at USC until he is done coaching.  He did horrible in the NFL.  And he's pretty much a legend in college football.  If I were him, I'd stay where I'm a legend and loved instead of going where I failed miserably.  Heck, he pretty much gets paid an NFL coach's salary, so why would he want to leave?  He knows he'll have a winning program at USC.  There is a lot more pressure in the NFL to win and a much higher chance of not having a winning team.  I don't think he'd leave even if he were offered a ton of money.
