thats tough. because i dont think bayless will win it. oden could, but hes got compete with talents like oj mayo, derrick rose, michael beasley, kevin love, and dj augustine. he has about a 50 50 chance at winning it.

Neither one of these guys will be the rookie of the year. The rookie of the year will be Michael Beasley. He will be in the top five of in rebounds and he will average at least 20 pts. per game. That means he will average a double double making him the rookie of the year.

Both would be pretty good guesses.  Brandon Roy would make both of them look good.

But I wouldn't count out Michael Beasley if a healthy D-Wade would make him look good.  But Beasley and Marion play the same position...

Oden can't be ROY. Bayless isn't going to get as much playing time as Beasley or Rose. My rookie of the year goes to Beasley.

Yes Oden is a true center and is dominant. Rose and Beaseley can't compete as Beasley is undersized and immature and doesn't have all the skills yet and Rose is a play maker but he will take time to develop just like Paul. So its Oden and I smell title contenders.
