Will Portsmouth find a buyer in time to save the club from administration? Portsmouth owner Balram Chainrai has stated they’ll go into administration by Friday 26 February if they can’t.

Talks continue with about four groups regarding buying the club but according to the Pompey website Chainrai and other investors “have had to reluctantly accept that it is now unlikely a deal can be done before a winding-up hearing, due to be heard in the High Court on Monday”. By going into administration on Friday, Portsmouth can avoid the winding up order.
