  1. Likely warmer globally, but it's hard to say, because one year doesn't mean anything.

This graph shows why, clearly.  Individual years (the black line) jump around a lot; the data is noisy because of short term weather.  The 5 year average, the red line, filters out that noise, and shows the long term trend upward.

This is a common way in science to analyze noisy data.  Limiting things to one country makes the data even noisier and less reliable.

  2. Nationally...cooler

    Globally....cooler

The left wing liberal bias media will concentrate on sinking John McCain. Bush is already gone as far as they are concerned.

  3. You could actually say that the Bush administration has done a nice job at keeping Global Warming in check :-)

  4. Will the year in office (2008) likely be warmer or cooler than his first (2001)?

    Probably

  5. Nothing about the Bush administration has been very cool.

  6. It will be warmer than his first due to an increase in global temperature.  I wasn't able to find a graph for US temperatures but since the US is a relatively large country you would probably assume it follows the trend of the rest of the world.

  7. I, for one, am in favor of global warming.  I love where i live, but there's too much cold and snow in the winter, and i say, lets all do what we can to raise themmperature a few degrees.  You bet i'm outside with aerosol cans every winter!

  8. The Earth did warm more when the Democrats were in power.

Just goes to demonstrate that co-occurance does not prove causality.
