  1. He's making a speech but no lovey-dovey with McCain onstage. What a slap in the face to such a fine man(cough)

  2. I hope so.

It would be mean, unfair and hypocritical not to let him come.

  3. yes yes

  4. Yes, President Bush is speaking at the RNC.

And as a Democrat, I couldn't be happier that he is. And so is d**k Cheney, which is even more fantastic!

  5. I believe he is speaking on the first night.  If I was McCain, I would have asked him to stay on his "ranch".

  6. Yes. He's speaking.

  7. He'll be there, an embarassment to all.

  8. well if he does, that should put the final nail in the coffin~!

  9. Yes, he is to speak.  I hope he has advice for cleaning up the mess he's leaving behind (like the huge deficit)

  10. Yes, Bush and Cheney were invited to speak at their party's convention on opening night.  Wonder if it was on purpose that their debuts are scheduled as Monday Night Football season premiers?  The party leaders wanted this duo to appear early in the week, which is the reason Bush/Cheney will be far removed from McCain during his acceptance speech that Thursday.

  11. If he doesn't it will look like they're ashamed of him, and if he does attend, he'll need to speak. But McCain's ads have been saying America is worse off, without stating that it's because of Bush. Why anyone would for Republican is the 12th wonder of the world.

  12. Yes and Yes..

  13. He will pass on the touch of doom to McCain.
