Will Queen Camilla be the end of the monarchy?

Clarence House says that she'll use the title The Princess Consort of The United Kingdom, but parliament says that she'll legally be the Queen consort whatever unorthodox title she chooses.

  1. She cannot be titled "Queen".  She is a divorcee.

  2. No.  I think Charles should take the same path as his great uncle and abdicate.

His w***e isn't even fit to have the title of Duchess of Windsor as far as I'm concerned.

  3. Camilla will NEVER be Queen.

  4. I sincerely doubt that Charles will ever see the throne, so I dont believe there will be any momentary panic attacks about what to call her.

If he did become King, then she would automatically become Queen, as his wife. She can soothe the public with any ridiculous "stand in" title that she wants, but she'd be Queen.

However, I believe the next Monarch will be King William.

By the time the Queen knocks off her perch, Charles will be an old man who won't want to bother. Trained all his life for a job that he'll never have.

  5. She'll makes a far better wife to Charles than Diana ever did, she's also far less self-adsorbed, scheming or underhand. In short she'll make a far better consort to the Monarch when Charles becomes King.

  6. I'm not sure where you found out the Parliament says she'd be queen... because here's what it says on the OFFICIAL Site of the British Monarchy...

After the wedding, Mrs Parker Bowles became known as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. When The Prince of Wales accedes to the throne, she will be known as HRH The Princess Consort.

(In my opinion, I don't think Charles should abdicate / NOT eligible for the thrown! And same goes for Andrew... only because of the divorces.)

  7. That WITCH was the end of the monarchy as soon as she married into the Royal family!

  8. The British people have known for centuries how much of a financial burden their monarchy is - especially today when it is officially a living hereditary museum of sorts.

The fact is that the monarchy still has deep ties with politicians and aristocracy which still function, to an extent, beyond the grasp of "commoners."  The monarchy will go on the way it is as long as these groups still have financial gain, even at the expense of their own country.

History must be preserved, but not the seeds of concentrated power.

  9. Hopefully William will take the throne and make us proud. We all had such high hopes for Charles, then he married a lovely girl, mistreated her, had her killed and then married one of his hound dogs.  What an embarrassment he is and surely he will be mocked and laughed at in the history books someday.

  10. I'm sure Charlie will move heaven and earth to make sure "his beloved" is made Queen.

  11. I have no idea whether or not she will be queen, I doubt it but there is no doubt she is much more of a woman than Diana.  Charles definetly did better for himself the second time around.

  12. Ugh..  There won't be a Queen Camilla.  Charles won't take the throne, one of his boys will.  I think he's even said that.

  13. Probably not. The monarchy will continue: the British seem too enamored with royalty, tradition and history to end it.

Camilla will probably end up as a footnote in history.

  14. She had no power or position to threaten you, so why do you fear her ?

  15. COWZILLA will NEVA be queen as such

only queen consort even that is too much

hopefully sumbody will bump cowzilla off the way she helped in part to get rid of princess diana
