  1. I do not think so

  2. Federer already beat him on clay last year in Hamburg, so I think that takes a lot of the pressure off Rafa, and he should win his 4th French Open title.

  3. If he is fit and healthy then yes, most likely. However due to his recent montage of bandades on his shoulder and knee he may be injured! Who knows.

  4. i hope so roger must win

  5. I don't think he'll do it this year...not his fault, though...it's the ATP scheduling that will do him in!

  6. Nadal will continue his lead... he got 11 straight wins. Federer is an amazing player as well, and Rafael and Roger are both amazing, competitive players, so I think its gonna be a close match. But I think Federer will win French Open because thats where he became known very well, king of grass, and Nadal king of clay.

  7. yes

  8. No, Nadal won´t be injured. He will be perfectly fine at the French Open and i refuse to believe otherwise :) He is lucky after all. And i think that he has the ambition and determination of winning his 4th title. I wish him all the best and i reckon he will win the French Open and Wimbledon as well :)) and all the other tournaments. OK, i overreact now.. but the French Open definitely:)

  9. Of Course. Looking at their last encounter on clay, second set Federer leading 4-0 then Nadal finishing the game at 7-5, if this were a bet I'm all in.

  10. as we talk about this, Nadal is almost sure to win the French for the record 4th straight year...much will depend on his health and body as the tour heads to Roland Garros...at the rate Nadal is playing, only he himself can assure his place in history...barring any injuries, he's almost there receiving the trophy at the end of the tournament...

  11. who cares !! what he have done to the world !

  12. yeah he had the stamina and power so he can...........

  13. yep rafa will win again and hopefully federer will lose early :)

  14. Yeah! Rafa will win his 4th French Open!

  15. yes. NADAL ONLY... ;)

  16. I would love to believe that Federer can beat Nadal at the French Open, but the truth is that he can't. Yes he's great, but he doesn't really have a game plan. This is the one case where virtuoso tennis just isn't getting the job done. Federer doesn't have a plan to get Nadal off his game. He just shows up and hopes someone else can knock out Nadal. Not good enough. Rafa is easily taking his 4th French Open.

  17. More than likely Rafa will win #4. Given his current form and that only one player (Ferrer) has take a set off him so far on clay in 2008 at Barcelona in the final - then look at what Rafa did to Ferrer on either side of that lost set: 6-1 sets.

Roger had his chances and is still (IMO) the only player who realistically has the game to beat Rafa on clay. He showed what he could do - in small patches - at Monte Carlo, however Roger has to sustain that form and tactics for a duration, not patches. That is one factor. Every other player (including Roger) then have to beat Rafa mentally. Not an easy job.

Just look at how strong Rafa is when he is down. He just keeps on coming at you. Brilliant for someone who is so young.

  18. i hope he'll win!

  19. Federer will beat him at the French this year.

I think Federer might also beat him in Rome or Hamburg again.

  20. Federer will be back to his old self again and he'll take the french from Rafa.

  21. When Rafa gets on clay he's like the Sub Mariner from Marvel comics. He'll be tough to beat.

  22. I am confident R Nadal will win his 4th French Open again, he is young and talent especially on clay. At the moment it seems nobody can match against him. Federer has never won on clay in big tournament like this one. I am sure he would like to win but this is not going to happen unless R Nadal has injury or pull out the tournament.

  23. I think he will win. (PLEASE LET HIM WIN!)

  24. nadal will win the french open this year though i think we will get to see federer in the final.

    go nadal!

  25. Rafa is always the favourite to win on clay, but Roger will definitely be in the run too. He did not have a great start this year so he would be looking forward to improving his record on clay and at other tournaments. Roger did put up a good performance at Monte Carlo finals, but he has to play a near to perfect game inorder to win against Rafa. He has to take care of his unforced errors, come out with a better game strategy against Rafa, and if he can take care of these things he should be in a good position to win the French Open. Go Rogi  !

  26. I think that Nadal will win the French Open for the 4th straight time.
