  1. next year

  2. not this year

  3. yes, just when Federer will stop his career

  4. Almost certainly. He's very close to Federer points-wise... and he's five years younger than Roger, so time is definitely on his side.  Provided he stays injury free, he is very likely to rise to the top of the rankings at some point. Keeping Djokovic at bay is gonna be tough though.

  5. Yes, and i recjon this may be the year. I'm positive that Nadal will win the French Open but i I think now he will also win Wimbledon. He's got closer and closer every singly year to beating Fedrer in the final and some say that if it weren't for the ankle injury before the last set last year, he might have beaten Fedrer then.

So this year, I reckon he's got Wimbledon as well. He's faster and stronger than Federer and he has kept on improveing since last. And I think that finally Roger has hit the downward curve to his coureer. He isn't playing with the same style as before so yeah....

The big question is whether Djockovic will beat Nadal there. Djokovic is arguably better than Nadal on hard ( just) and it should be interesting to see them play each other in Australia.

  6. No, he is a one-surface wonder.

  7. If he doesn't reach #1 soon, he may never, because Djokovic is right on his heels and is continuing to improve.  If Rafa does reach #1, it would probably happen after Wimbledon, if he can win the title (assuming he defends his French title as well).  But even then, I think it would only be for a short period of time, because Djokovic will probably end the year #1.

  8. The only time he can beat federer is on clay...once he can do it on a different surface he will be number 1

  9. Yes. He must defend his title at RG and then win Wimbledon. I do believe he will win on All-England Club this year and become world number one. But Novak is improving. He is a legit threat.

  10. surely he will be no. 1 in future becoz he plays best on clay beside it he is very good on hard and grass also.

he is having 16 matches with world no.1 roger  federer and he leads with 10-6. so he is having a golden chance this year as he has capability to defeat all the top players . best of luck to nadal.let's see what happens .

  11. Yes he will. I believe he can do it and really deserves it. Look how long he has sustained his #2 ranking and the points he has. No other #2 in the world had that many points and was still #2 any other era Rafa would have been the #1. I dont no if he`ll do it this year but if he can win the french and go one step a little further than last year at wimbledon and actually win the title which he shoulda have won last year lol he has a good chance. As long as he doesnt s***w up the hardcourt season he always seems to get injured during hardcourts :( !!!

He can beat Roger on other surfaces so people are talking **** when they say he`s a one surface wonder !!! Rafa is an all court player no his game suits every surface and he`s improving constantly....So :) He will be #1 at one point!!!

    Vamos Rafa x*x

  12. It will only happened if he improves his record on hard court.  World no 1 should be a all-rounder not specific good at certain surface.  This is one of the reason why he can't overtake Federer as the world no 1.  Now Djokovic has threaten his no.2 position.  Compare to Nadal, Djokovic has a better chance to become world no 1 as he's good at all surfaces. But I have to admit that if it wasn't Federer, he'll be world no 1 long time ago.

  13. If not for Djokovic, and Federer he would be the number 1 in the world.  Even though Nadal is younger than Federer, I'm predicting that his game will deteriorate faster than Roger's.  He relys to much on his physical style of play.

Djokovic will be the number 1 player someday.  I firmly believe that.
