Will Randy Couture fight Fedor Emelionenko?

I have been following fighting for twenty years. I have never seen anyone like Fedor. But it only takes one punch or stray limb to win or lose. I have to admit the odds are in Fedor favor.

Well Fedor will with out a doubt just the experience level and age are a factor. Coutore is extrmely overrated but hey the UFC can build hype on some of the shittiest fighters example Vera

I think this fight will happen. They both want it randy just has to wait till his contract expires.

I am not so sure why randy is considered the best heavyweight in the world. He beat tim sylvia and gonzaga to become the UFC heavyweight champion. Not really impressed with that and his 15-8 record.

I would love to see randy vs big nog and then the winner take on fedor.

all in all fedor will win pretty easily against randy if it comes down to that. he controlled big nog 2x already.

I don't think it will happen, but Fedor has the upper hand.

I'm still going nuts about the Anderson Silva's fight though. that guy is nasty.

Couture wants to fight Fedor - problem is Couture's still under contract to the UFC, and Dana wants the 4 fight contract to be honored.

If anyone can beat Fedor it's Couture.  I think Randy has the advantage in a standing clinch, and they are evenly matched on the ground.  With Fedor's transitions and the power he generates on the ground, it will be a tough fight.  

The fight probably won't take place before next year at the earliest because of this contract thing.  I'm betting on Fedor to win, but Couture will hold up way better than Fedor's last few opponents.

one day when they are both in a retirement home because thier children no longer care about them and have long since stolen all thier money and left them destitute the two will get in a fight over whether the frosting side or the wheaty side of frosted mini wheats are better.

THEY will fight .. but no one know when .. it will be the most anticipate fight of all time.

But i hope it would last longer than Tim vs Fedor fight .. lol

Like someone else said, Randy wants the fight but is under UFC contract.  He is currently battling it in court with an arbitraitor.  If they rule in his favor and he gets away from the contract they will fight, if not I could see Randy just retiring or keep fighting in court until he gets out of the UFC.  He really is mad at Dana White and I dont ever see Randy fighting in the UFC again.
