  1. What resources? The only thing Canada has is Maple Syrup and Snow! lol, but seriously, it would be pointless for Russia to invade Canada. Also, the U.S. only has around 150,000 troops involved in Iraq and Afghanistan. We still have millions in the reserves and national guards. Canada has reserves too. Militaries aren't that stupid to leave their country defensless. Get your facts straight before you ask stupid questions. Also, we wouldn't let Russia just play around in our back yard. Believe me, we'd defend Canada, partly to protect Canada, but also to protect our own country. Our policy is that war stays out of the homeland.

  2. Maybe the USA should adopt a pre-emptive scorched-earth defensive strategy. Canada would then not be an attractive target for the Russians, and the Russians wouldn't invade.  This would prove that the USA was right. The USA could then laboriously rebuild the Canadian oil industry and bill Canada  100 years' worth of oil production to pay for its defence. The Canadians would love being defended by the Americans. They would throw flowers in front of their tanks.

Do you think that I could get a job with the Bush Administration?

  3. No, Canada lives in a good neighborhood.

  4. Only in your dreams. The U.S. isn't going to let russia play in it's back yard.

  5. Russia already has more resources than it knows what to do with.

Western Europe buys much of its natural gas from Russia.

  6. You are getting alittle carried away, huh?!

  7. stop asking stupid questions, ever heard of national guards and reserves? and what country in their right mind would leave themselves open for a attack? russia will not invade canada lol..

  8. Stop believing fictional books.  If they move into Canada, the US's freaking backyard, they're going to accomplish 2 things: they're going to justify our military budgets for the last 60yrs, and they're going to get smacked down hard.  Our logistics chain will be very short, we'll be able to call on mutual defense pacts with a LOT of countries (all of NATO), and we'll be fighting for (well close to) our homes.  Not a good idea.

  9. Well, if they do, I promise I'll come over & help you guys out!

(It's only fair, since you were helping us out way before the Americans did in world wars 1 & 2).

  10. Well, they are already testing Canada's "defenses" by sending bombers over the arctic.

  11. They'd have to get by Alaska first, and that aint happening. We have strong forces in Alaska.

  12. Only if they start developing a taste for maple syrup.

  13. It would if it could.

  14. Don't mix US and Russia.

In contrast to US, Russia is a peaceful country, that is not attacking first only acts in self-defense.

Russia did not invade Georgia. Russia, S.Ossetia and Georgia had 3 sides peace agreement, that was broken by Georgia started genocide in S.Ossetia again (the first try was in 1991, but failed and peace agreement was signed with Russia as the mediator and peacekeeper). So according to its obligations Russia protected civilians from the genocide

  15. yeah right the prime minister of russia thinks he can just walk into my house.

  16. No Russia will not invade Canada.  Canada is a memeber of the nice little military alliance called NATO where an attack on one nation is deemed an attack on them all.  Despite what people think, the USA military is not maxed out.  We have plenty of troops left around the world and in our own country to stop any type of invasion.  If Canada was to be invaded you would see American forces being the first mobilized along with the Canadians.  Then the rest of NATO would follow suit.

Russia would be screwed in doing so.

Garish:  Russia is a peaceful nation huh?  Why not ask the Czechs and Afghanistans about how peaceful they are...
