  1. no they just want to inflict harm on them as punishment for siding witht the west

  2. yes Russia will take GEORGIA.and then geogia will scream for help then we'l get involved and stuck in once again another iraq or iran witch equals no win sit. our military will be spread out to thin and boom we'l be under attact , who's nos what will happen?. if it shoud happen.wait 12 years before we get involved.if you send them in make sure your kids are in the front

  3. no china will

  4. I wouldn't be surprised if Russia's actions are intentional, to detract US attention from Iraq and Afghanistan and to force us to commit troops elsewhere.

Georgia could very well just be a decoy for something more serious elsewhere, like North Korea or Japan...

    Just a thought.

PS--and with Bush being a lame duck president, what does he care where our precious troops get sent to?  His father did the same thing with Somalia, a month before leaving office when he sent troops to that country.

  5. Interesting question! i really dont know to be honest. I wouldnt put it past them though! They will come up with some reason to explain their neo-imperialist activities im sure but i hope the world doesnt sit back and take it if russia does re-take georgia. Interesting times we live in!

  6. Why?

It doesn't have any resources or anything interesting.

If Russia wanted Georgia it would try to keep it in 1991 but it didn't.

  7. I hope they don't try, because this is were i believe international resolve will be pushed. I feel they can get away with the current military operation but trying to retake Georgia wouldn't be a wise move for them :)

  8. I have no idea. I hope not as the idea of another soviet union forming is terrifying.

I know its a long way away from that but as tensions between NATO and Russia grow ever tighter who knows what can happen.

  9. i think so, Georgia is to small and Russia has a greater army

  10. No,but de facto incorporation of Ossestia and Abhazia into Russia,as a lesson to Georgia for trying to get into NATO

  11. They will try, I am not sure what will happen except I believe that people that can still walk and eat after all of this will have all the property they want! I wish we could see a play by play of all of this besides CNN live video. I have a bad feeling the US is on a brink of war with Russia unless Russia pulls back.

  12. I think that was the plan all along.

  13. No, but they will take South Ossetia, a region of Georgia which is on the border between Russia and Georgia.
