Will SBC pistons, etc work in a 4.3L Vortec V6?

Question

Since a 4.3L V6 is pretty much a 350 with two less cylinders, I know that most 350 SBC internals (pistons, rocker arms, connecting rods, etc) will work in the early (non vortec) 4.3 V6. But will they work in the 4.3L Vortec V6? Wikipedia says "The difference is the Vortec engine used a balance shaft, roller cam shaft, different heads, and Central Port Injection". Will any of those differences prevent SBC parts from working on the Vortec V6? Thanks

a vortec 350 piston will work in a vortec 4.3, through GM, the pistons are the same part number. EVERYTHING is the same........
