it dont think he will be playing any of the IPL matches.. sole reason is he has a reputation to keep.. he is the top batsmen in the world.. specially india.. if he doest perform or hit good runs his reputation will hurt.. he is also thinking about playing more @ international level(country).. his efforts @ international level will be more acknowlwdged...

Since India are not scheduled to play any International Cricket before the end of IPL, it is high probability that Sachin will indeed play in this IPL, provided, he recovers quickly, because it takes considerable amount of time to recover from groin injuries!
