Will SanDisk 2GB SD Card work with nikon coolpix L18???

im getting a nikon and need a good sd card. any suggestions???

also whats the purpose of the SanDisk 2GB SD Card???

Sandisk is an excellent brand. But, make sure you do NOT buy the slow, standard (blue coloured) card.

You will need to either buy the Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III.

The purpose of the Sandisk 2GB SD card?

Well, it will allow you to shoot up to 360 'high quality' images

or up to 760 'normal quality' images

or up to 20 minutes of high quality movies...

go to a local  camera store (like wolcamera cool pix etc.) and bring ur camera in and they canput it in and tell you                                    i have the same one in my video camera and it saves alot of  videos and pictures im not sure howmany
