Will Sarah Palin fight to make all abortions illegal?

Can we also expect that she will fight for longer maternity leaves and subsidized child care?

Will she fight for programs that assist parents in raising disabled children, and force private insurance companies to pay for their care?

Will she make it possible for a working-class college student to provide her child with a solid education in a safe neighborhood, and finish her education herself?

(Doubtful...)

  1. I don't know about the rest seeings as that hasn't been brought up... however I am pretty certian she will not try and fight to make abortions illegal... for one that wouldn't be a very smart move.

  2. As VP she would no control over this. Only the Supreme Court can affect Roe v. Wade.

  3. Only liberals "fight" for this, that, and the other -- so, no, she won't.

  4. No,,,,.....Now why do liberals think the taxpayer should pay for someones maternity leave?

If you want to have a baby take responsibility for your own actions, and pay for it yourself.

  5. The pro life movement should be referred to as the pro-birth movement.

To state pro life means that you are concerned with the health and well being of the child throughout it's stages of life.

Many pro life opinions come from a right wing ideology.  ONe that habitually as you stated pushes for the elimination of assistance and social programs.

I do find it amusing the FLMA doesn't cover paid maternity, that it is up to the discretion of the company.  So first working mothers are penalized for giving birth financially, when they do return to work child care can run upwards of a couple hundred dollars per week, not to mention that since FMLA will only cover up to 12 weeks you are sending a very young infant into child care.  (It is actually very difficult to breast feed a child you are separated from 8 hours per day).  America is also one of the few places that doesn't make it manditory for companies to offer mat/par leave. I live in Canada currently where maternity/paternity  leave is 1 full calendar year.

You want to be pro life, I respect that, however make it easier for those children to be brought into this world.

  6. No, it's a waste of time, because it won't be overturned. The abortion issue is used to distract us off of more important things. It's a wedge issue that gets people hot and bothered over something that is nothing.

  7. As Gov. of Alaska, she stood against early childhood education funding.  Taken from her stand on other issues relating to family she would probably not back any funding for research and care for children with disabilities either.  Her track record seems to be 'I got mine, so to h**l with you'...... I am waiting for her to avocate female circumcision soon......that separationist group her family belonged to who wanted to seceed from the Union definitely believes in a separate, free, white and rabidly overbearing fundamentalist Christian country.  Is that what we really want to run this country? Because McCain said so himself, she is only a pulse beat away if he is elected and something happens to him.

  8. She comes across as the Alaskan version of a cowboy; haven't we had enough of cowboys in the White House the last 8 years.

Anne Coulter was practically frothing at the mouth today over how great Palin is; that alone is enough for me to know that Palin is 'wrong.'

As for the rest: don't get me started.

By the way: I hope that everyone gets to see the tape of Joe Biden speaking at Langhorne, Pennsylvania Friday morning. Intelligence AND wit. I always liked him, warts and all, but he was PHENOMENAL.

  9. sarah palin has no experience

i dont care if this doesnt have to do with the question

they talk about obama not having any experience haha republicans are a joke and i will keep saying this haha

she wants to run for vp when she doesnt have time to be a m.o.m for her kids pfft pregnant teenage daughter plus she needs to stay at home and take care of her down syndrome baby

but she sold her jet on ebay maybe she could not care and hire a nanny and have another pregnant teenage daughter in a few years ( her younger daughter piper) haha piper licks her hand and rubs the baby's head while the "money-loving daddy" gave piper the down syndrome baby to hold for about an hour who gives a 5 year old a baby in real life if any mother had a pregnant daughter do you think they would still allow them to be getting married haha their whole lives are backwards.

[this is pasted from another answer to a question i just feel it should be copied here haha]

  10. Why does a "working-class college student" have a baby she can't afford to take care of? It doesn't really bother me, though, if that mother wants help; it bothers me that she would want the government to send an agent to stick a gun in my face and take that help from me by force. What kind of lesson is that for her child?

Krissy here is a case in point. What a hateful little witch she has made herself out to be here.
