  1. No.  no how, no way.  the rnc will either establish a committee or reconvene to nominate a new candidate, there is absolutely no way that the repub power structure is going to let her run things until she gets her feet at least a little wet.

  2. The 20th Amendment to the Constitution states in Section 3:

"If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified."

    So, yes.

    Although, a caveat:

I'm pretty sure this only applies to a "President elect" as in someone elected President *by the electoral college,* not on election day. If McCain dies after election day, but prior to the electoral college voting, I'd assume the party would nominate a replacement - most likely the VP and then a new V.P.

  3. Sarah.  The Mother of her Grandkid.

    The Republicans deserve that.

  4. No, Palin is regarded as someone for change by GOP and Mccain, not in the role of leadership. So she can't become a presidential candidate, but she will stay as vp and the GOP will look for anyone comfortable with that seat

  5. He won't die until late next year after the election.

She will then become president and end the 100-year war, cut taxes, reduce the size of the government and stop deficit spending, stop illegal immigration and pardon Campeon and Ramos

  6. Duh? That's the way it works unless anyone objects

  7. I doubt there is a hard and fast rule in such a case.  A lot of it would depend on whether or not she wants it.  (just a guess though)

  8. There is a ZERO chance of that happening unless some looney activist shoots him

  9. No, she's clueless eye candy.  Bush in skirt.

Bush also was a Governor and look how he screwed things up.
