^^^^They've given him a deadline now....

Personally I'd love to see Selanne back (and maybe sign with a different team) I've never been a Duck fan, but I fo infact like Selanne. Has anyone heard anything else? Is he even interested in the staying in the league next year?

  1. He is definitely retired. He won't get the deal he got from Anaheim this year and the results will scare anyone else away. The NHL is not a part time league. None of the part timers will be returning. Selanne, Forsberg, or Niedermayer.

  2. No, he's retiring for good.

  3. I'm guessing Neidermayer retires as well as Selanne, but i think Selanne will play somewhere in Europe.

  4. I hope he comes back to the Ducks next season. Nope I haven't heard anything yet.

  5. No

  6. He still has his legs and makes his home in Coto de Caza. Everyone I know who is close to the team is fairly certain he will do a farewell year in Anaheim.

The OC Register also reported that Selanne let Brian Burke know he'll make his decision before July 1.
