Will Serena Williams win Laureus Sportswoman of the Year? She had a great 2009, winning two Grand Slam titles and regaining the No. 1 ranking.

    And she went some way to spoiling all that with her US Open semi-final outburst at a line judge. Serena’s achievements while impressive, don’t stand out above the other nominees the way Roger Federer’s do for the men’s award either. It probably won’t be Serena’s year.
