While it won’t be Henin who knocks Williams out of top spot, she does have a lot of ranking points to defend in those 17 weeks – including a Wimbledon title. Should Serena crash out a couple of times, and current No. 2 Wozniacki have a successful run, for example, Williams could lose the top ranking before she passes Henin on the list.
