Will Shawn Michaels be a part of The Undertaker vs. Triple H II at WrestleMania?
The Deadman made his return to ring last week on Raw stunning Triple H and everyone else who thought the Phenom has gone for good. It was an awe-inspiring moment to see the arena blazed with the Undertaker’s signature blue lighting and gongs.
Undoubtedly, as always, the Deadman made a solid entry which definitely stirred the audience to chant for him. However, neither the cerebral assassin Triple H nor the Undertaker uttered a word. Both stared for a while and then Triple H walked away tapping
The Undertaker on his left shoulder, which irked the latter.
With such an exotic walk to the ring, many questions have popped up in our minds. First off, we are left to believe that the Undertaker will again put his streak on line to take on the Game. Secondly, we are also left to wonder as to what type of a match
it will be this time; a simple one on one match or a No Holds Barred match like last year. However, what is possibly the most profound concern right now is of a possible return of Mr. WrestleMania Shawn Michaels.
While most people are wondering why Shawn would enter the ring again after he resigned from the WWE two years back, there are some who actually believe this will happen and they have all the reasons to believe it. The first signal to HBK’s return is the
fact that WrestleMania will be held in Texas this year which is the Heart Break Kid’s home town. We all know how fond Shawn is of entertaining his fans and how desperate he is to make his way to the ring every time he gets even the smallest opportunity.
So, why would not he do it this time when WrestleMania, his favourite event, will be next door? Moreover, when his partner in crime Triple H will be having a tough time with the Undertaker to acquire something none of the two could achieve in the past, definitely
Shawn will have his play and he might help the Game to achieve this feat.
The third and the foremost reason why people are of the view that Shawn Michaels will make an appearance on WrestleMania this year is that it will be the Undertaker’s 20th year to success. If the Deadman defeats Triple H yet again, he will walk away with
a score of 20-0 which will neither be acceptable to Michaels nor to Triple H. In other words, both men will try their best to break this god forsaken streak once and for all and this will be their best chance to do it.
On one end, we have seen Shawn Michaels as a very honourable and sincere fighter, a heroic being. On the other end, we have seen him come down to low blows, steel chairs or anything else for that matter of fact to overcome his opponent. In his last two WrestleMania
matches against the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels played fair and square and he didn’t mind losing but honour was his feat. But then we have events like the ‘Montreal Screwjob’ where we saw the most evil side of Michaels betraying Brett Hart and all of his fans
around the world.
This is what has made Shawn Michaels so controversial yet so adorable all these years. He has been loved for his dedication to the ring and his fans and has been hated for his nasty acts. He has been the show-stopper, and at the same time the villain in
the arena. As of now, the question remains, which side of Shawn Michaels will we get to see if he appears on WrestleMania this year?
