they are pretty solid offensively, they have a good chance. I wouldn't bet on them though just because they've won several international competitions.

I don't follow team handball leagues, but I can tell you that I'm from Canada, and I DO know what team handball is!

I played for 3 years in high school and it's an excellent sport.  I played goal and pivot.  

To the poster who bashed team handball and olympic sports... I would rather watch and play handball anyday than basketball.

And I didn't know handball was an olympic sport actually...I'll have to watch a few games on television next month! (If they even air it :P)

h**l no. the people on here that are saying yes are either from spain, are on spain's bandwagon or don't know much about handball.

i say germany all the way. spain couldn't get past croatia and especially not past germany.

and as far as spain winning the euro cup... you have to admit they got lucky on a dumb *** play by lehmann.
