Steinway's are sold through dealers. It requires a large investment. I am not sure there are enough customers in Singapore yet. But we can ship all you need.

My god I would hope so, so many gifted artist in that region being deprived of some of the finest concert instruments in the world is shameful.  I do not believe the twaddle I have heard about the weather being such a \n over riding factor in the decision making process - as to why the decision has still not been made to commit to open a facility there, nor do I believe that only a genuine Steinway can be made by Steinway & sons in theior existing shops - I think that that is racist and demeaning.  

Such boorish comments come from such small minds, backed by snotty up-turned noses, that come from a long line of inbread incestuous paleskinned twits whole live off the family dole, and are given credence only out of respect for the good works and hard decisions their Ancestors made for the betterment of their communities, and not their own coffers.

A Better Question Perhaps is will they ever set up shops in kowloon or Taipei?  How about Cape Town, or Calcutta?

Interesting question - leads to other interesting sidelines - if we do not know wnere we are going, any road will get us there.
