Will Steven Jackson sign before the regular season starts?

I think so.  These guys all want money, but they also really like to play football.  The guys that know they're the stars don't really like the preseason, and training camp and all.  Jackson's just a little steamed right now, because he sees LaDainian Tomlinson skipping preseason, and Brian Westbrook getting paid more than him.  Jackson wants both of those things, too.

At the least, holding out gets him out of training camp and those annoying preseason games.  If he actually gets a better contract out of it, too, all the better.  But I would put money on him returning in time for the regular season.
