Will TOM Brady go down as the best Football player ever to play the game?

I'm not sure...We'll see when his career is over......But as of right now the best player ever to play the game is Jerry Rice.......and the best QB would be Joe Montana.....And Johnny Unitas from what I have heard...Brady is great but if you think back to say Montana days the niners totally blew away the other teams...The pats just squeak by.....and yes it is a win but not pure domination like Montana...

now this is a great question here. being a pats fan i believe that he is one of the games best players. i'l even go out and say he is the best QB of all time, but i will hesistate before i label him the best player of all time. brady wins ball games plain and simple, although it can be ugly he gets is done (not including those 30 point blow outs). brady has proven what he can do with a poor set of offensive weapons. hes won it all hasn't he? against the rams he had who troy brown, and a poor running back in antoine smith. brown was good but he is nothing compared to what the opponents had. and we've seen what he can do with an elite core of offensive weapons. shattering touch down records and blowing out his opponents. brady has shown hes a great player. hes shown he doesn't need a strong cast to perform but is he the greatest football player? he hasn't won more super bowls than joe montana has(4) but i expect to happen. hes the most clutch player in football. come on how many comeback victories has he led the pats too. hes won more playoff games than any other player in nfl history. and he has the highest winning percentage of any player in nfl history ( might want to check that but im nearly certain thats correct). so winning wise he is the best. if we are to judge people on their winning and their success on the field then brady, will go down as the best player. but statistically i dont think he is. guys like montana and rice, favre and marino have alll put up more impressive stats than brady. but none have had the success of this former michigan quarterback has had or will have. however if brady can conitnue to have the success he has had, then i will say that he is the best player ever, no matter which way you look at it.

so in all brady, winning wise, best player- i expect 5 career suprbowl titles

and if he continues his stats, then no questions asked best player ever

I agree with lewlew. He definitely will go down as the best QB EVER - just count the rings. But I don't know if you could consider him the best football "PLAYER" of all-time. That would be open for discussion.

As of today, Montana still holds a slight edge. If Brady wins another Super Bowl or two, then you just about have to give it to him.

Quarterback that is. Jerry Rice is probably the best player of all time.

Of course, Montana had Rice all those years and Brady has mostly had just good solid receivers until last year. Who would you want your QB to be with 2 mins left on your own 30 and down by 6 pts.? Montana or Brady? Please don't say Farve !

No, it's a toss between Montana and Unitas.

Montana was 7 times All Pro. Unitas was 9 times. Brady has been twice and he would need to make 5 more times only to match Montana.

SPYGATE did anyone forget about spygate, and even with the video tape of the Rams b4 the SuperBowl they won by a field goal. If he goes to another team with different types of personnel and offensive systems, then we would see how good he really is. In my opinion Brett Favre is the most over-rated QB of all time.  He is good, but not that good.
