Will The Lens Hood For The 70-300mm VR lens, Fit The Non-VR 70-300....?

and amazon's ' better together ' deal with this, it says you can buy it with the Non-Vr 70-300mm lens, will this really fit, or is amazon making another mistake?

Hi Nathan. Pooky is right. Every lens has a hood that is designed specifically for it. You really should not use a different hood. If it were to fit you are likely to get vignetting or have it not be large enough to be effective.
