what would your thoughts be on a new one?

Yeah they are putting a New Nightmare franchise.  I heard rumours the Robert Englund isn't going to reprise his role as the famous Freddy Kruger and that Billy Bob Thorton may be replacing him.

Still in talks though

i like freddy vs jason 2 in first one there was alot gory , blood and the first nightmare stand alone- no remakes or new ones.

There's a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street due out in 2010.  There's also a remake of Friday the 13th coming out in 2009.
