Will there be any room for its battery in my Fender strat?

  1. Usually is. It's only a 9v battery. Don't know why you want EMGs, but I guess that's your problem, not mine.

    Do this test. Take your pickguard off and see if you can squeeze a 9v battery anywhere inside the cavity and still be able to put the pickguard back on. If so, then you can have EMGs safely installed in your strat.

    If not, it's possible to route out the additional space needed, but I would take it to a pro for that. One slip with the Dremel and you've cheesed your guitar.
