  1. i wouldn't count on it. there is no point in bringing him back this year, the team is in 4th place in the division and has no shot at the playoffs..To try and bring him back after getting drilled like that would be foolish on the team's part

if they are smart they will shut him down for the year, let him rest up..he is the future of that organization and its not worth trying to bring him back for 7-8 more useless starts

  2. everyone who said he should'nt start or he shouldn't come back shut up cuz tim lincecum is gonna be the cy young winner he leads the mjors in strikeouts k so tim lincecum will be back this season and who was the one that hit him with the line drive i forgot and whoever it was i hate him    look sandman be quiet and thanks nick

  3. I think he will be Fine

the Chroncile said he was walking around the the Clubhouse

And the X-Rays are Negitive, so that just means its a bruise

He might not make his next start, but expect him to be on the hill the start after next

  4. RHP Tim Lincecum is OK. The Giants' ace limped off the mound in the fifth inning Tuesday after taking a Brad Ausmus line drive off the outside of his right knee. Lincecum is the story of the season for the Giants, and any prolonged absence might have made it tougher for fans to keep paying attention. But he's fine. X-rays proved negative. No fracture, just a bruise. He walked around the clubhouse after the game. He may even make his next start, but manager Bruce Bochy wouldn't say for sure. Lincecum will be re-evaluated Wednesday. For now, he's day-to-day.

  5. Yes, he will be able to start on Sunday, He only has a bruise left on the side of his knee from where he got drilled. On the game on Wednesday, it was shown that Tim would be just fine, he was fielding baseballs and talking, he seemed he was feeling quite better.

If you would like more information, just go to www.mlb.com and then team sites and got to SF Giants.
