  1. Trick question.  I think the changes that were made shows potential for improvement.  But, we have yet to see what the outcome is after all the changes.  For me, it's difficult to even remember who's left on the squad...  I'm just glad and happy to see change at all.  It would be another crappy season if nothing happened.  I'm still sad Tucker is gone.

  2. The way they can improve is if they draft high and clear cap space. I'm not predicting a good upcoming season for the Leafs but it will help us out in the long run if we do this right.

  3. Highly unlikely especially if Sundin and MacCabe go elsewhere but who knows , hockey is a team sport and if they play like a team instead of individuals like the past few years, they may improve. That being said, it is also hard to get any worse, lol.

  4. new coach, no raycroft, got rid of alot of dead weight, picked up some defensive players in the offseason i think they will suprise alot of people this year

  5. Although I am a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, they have now gotten rid of Darcy Tucker, Kyle Wellwood, and Bryan McCabe, and Mats Sundin might be going. This season will be dreadful BUT it will be a re-building season, and I think, unfortunately, that it will be the 4th year in a row without making it to the playoffs.

  6. who knows? .. they'll meet expectations if they fail to make the playoffs again..Toskala wasn't all that horrible last season, yet he's a lot better than he was at times.. maybe he'll steal them a few more games than last season.. and besides Kaberle, they have noone who really stands out offensively.. In all, we'll have to see what Wilson can do with these guys, but running his usual system of defense the goals may be even harder to come by .. I'm not going to be like everyone else and count them out right away because you never know what certain changes can do to a  team..

  7. sorry but no, they are falling behind the race, including the loss of Matts Sundin, they aren't going to be going anywhere unless they make a dramatic move

  8. The Leafs need new management!

  9. They look like the worst team in organized hockey.

  10. They will make it 41 straight years without doing anything meaningful.

  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA  Good one.
