No.  That's old news.  For the most part, the US and Russia work together, now.

You need to be afraid of Iran and North Korea.  But neither of them has enough power to "end the world".  They would just make it very sick.

Three days ago I would have said no - but now, with Russia invading Georgia, I'm not so sure. Having one country invade another's declared ally is a recipe for trouble; and the rhetoric sounds very much Hitler's rhetoric in 1938, and we all know what that led to.

We are back to interesting times - in the old Chinese sense.

All take heed for 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Christians and Messianic Jews look forward to this as it means they will soon join their Messianic Saviour in the Millennial Kingdom of the next Age and their Heavenly Father later as "Children of Light". I wish I could say "For the LAST TIME, the world will not end in 2012!"  But I can't say that, because I know all too well that it WON'T be the last time I'll have to say it.

Look, his whole 2012 nonsense is foolish.  Everyday somebody else is asking about it, and it's always a different supposed mechanism: nuclear war, pole shifts, mysteriously invisible planets that are nevertheless going to show up and wreak havoc, alien invasions, and for all I know, giant mutant cockroaches.  If the 2012 crowd could get their story straight and present ONE scientifically feasible means by which disaster might visit us in that year, I'd be willing to listen.  So far, though, I have not been impressed.

Nah that particular phase of totally needless paranoia peaked ages ago. Apart from occaisional bouts of chest beating by both nations they've got their minds on other things these days.

Well, what will happen is this;

- America will invade Russia for oil supplies.

- Russia will get angry and go KGB on their asses.

- Nuclear war will break out.

- One American missile will hit a Russian nuclear facility, with so much nuclear material that it will wipe out the Middle East and Asia.

- Supplies from Asia will dwindle.

- Playstation fanboys will go crazy because of Sony being destroyed in the blast.

- They will kill everybody and then commit suicide.

- Nintendo fans will come out of hiding and rule the world with mushrooms.

- The human race will die because they don't understand the concept of reproduction.

Sorry if it got a bit Games Console-y, but it's what I think will happen.
