Will Viruses from URL Affect the CPU Performance?

I found a few viruses went I fleet through my anti-virus virus detection history. The viruses are like Trojen and EMail Worm. So, will it affet my CPU performance? If yes, how should I clear it off?

  1. Update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

    Restart your PC in safe mode, and run a full scan with both.

    While in safe mode, you may also want to have a look at your start up items by using msconfig.

    After you reboot back to normal mode, download and install ccleaner to fix any registry problems and clean up old temp files.

  4. First, your anti-virus app should have warned you at the time of detection, and not just make a note in a log (history file). It should also have offered a solution to you (delete or quarantine). You need to scan your pc again (maybe get another anti-virus app?). Yes these can slow down your pc (things running and using system resources), but much worse than that could occur, so do something now!

    i use McAfee SecurityCenter to protect me, and get rid of viruses.

    Eg, Trogens, etc

    Also, just be careful what emails you open. if it looks not quite right, id leave it.
