  1. The presence of [Vitamin C] is required for a range of essential metabolic reactions in all animals and plants.

The following article on Vitamin C has many more mentions of plants.

When you reach the article, hold CTRL and press F. Then type in plants to quickly jump to that part of the article.

    Goodbye and good luck

  2. look do you ask for what make the planet grow faster or

only the affect of vitamin c i want to know this to can answer you

    thanks.

  3. Probably not.  Unlike humans, plants and most animals synthesize their own vitamin C (a.k.a. ascorbic acid; C6H8O6).  Thus feeding it to the plants will probably have little effect unless for some reason they are lacking something else which is needed to synthesize it, in which case your plant has other problems.

I'm not even sure plants can absorb vitamin C effectively.  Since it's a water soluble compound, it's more likely to leech out of the plant than into it.  That may be why some plants tend to overproduce it, making them a good source of vitamin C.

So, while vitamin C is fairly important to plants, feeding it to them is not how they get it.  You're far better off giving them water, normal fertilizers, and trace minerals, since that is what they really need (see source).
