Now that Mr Gatland will have a chance to have a look around wales this week...will he pick from the other three regions...or will he stick with the quarter of welsh resources that were enough to beat the best of the English with?

  1. dont repair something thats not broken

  2. Damned if his does and damned if he doesn't.

Needs to hammer doing the basics right, keeping it simple. The Ospreys crew have enough talent, need to focus on leadership from key players and a disciplined performance with accuracy. The second half was almost error free and showed what Wales is capable of.

I have long been frustrated by the Welsh packs, they really are capable of playing blindingly good football, but seem to throw games away carelessly or through unforced errors more than anything.

I think if Gats can instill the need for test rugby to revolve around accuracy, no errors, it doesn't matter who he has on the pitch, as long as they set the standard for newly selected players to follow. A base or standard to build from. Any team that can string together 80mins of error free rugby at test level is a hard team to beat, especially if they have a splash of talent. A proper rugby nation, Wales has never been short on talent.

It's still very early for Gats, it took him two seasons to really find his groove with the last NZ team he coached, but once that team came on-line, no other team down here could stop them.

Mr Gatland will be stoked that the boys turned it on in the second half, but I don't think he will enjoy anyone talking grand slam just yet.

  3. He may try to strengthen the forwards but why change a winning combination.

  4. wat the h**l is rugby just asking because im a foot ball and wrestling fan and also do not want to waste 5 points on a dumb question

  5. I think they should start Shankin, Mathew Rees and Gethin Jenkins. Also Jon Thomas will be out so I would play Popham too. Lets hope Gartland thinks the same way as we do and we could be going for the Grand slam again

  6. I would stick with Gethin Jenkins and Tom Shanklin and maybe start Huw Bennet, as long as they play as they did in the second half, and NOT as they did in the first half, there should be no probs!

    Once the jelled they flew!

  7. I think he should stick with the side that finished the game against England. Tom Shanklin and Gethin Jenkins shouldn't have been on the bench in the first place in my opinion.
