Will Walgreen offer a takeover to Rite Aid?

Right now , CVS is offering a takeover to Long green. I am just wondering will that be a good chance for Walgreen to buy out Rite Aid in term to keep up with CVS?

Rite Aid is still a very very big company and Walgreens generally does not do huge takeovers like CVS does.  Walgreens prefers to build fresh locations.  This is just a game that Walgreens and CVS play every few years.  Walgreens builds about 300-600 new stores every year and passes CVS.  CVS buys another company and passes Walgreens.  Back and forth, back and forth.  It's all part of the cycle.
