Definitely!  He still needs to drop a few kilos though, he was nippy, but not the speedster he could be again.  I was at the game on Sunday, he was handy & made some metres, but he could be so much better next season.  Bennett brought out the best in him, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.  The supporters seem to have adopted him - they'd bellow everytime he was in range of the ball.


  2. I think Bennett will stick with big Dell. Apart from Cooper it will be a young backline so Dell will help them out. He will get fitter for next season, he has been given permission to play rugby in France for our off season to help his fitness.

  3. you can bet your house,car and family on it. Bennett brings out sailor's best don't be surprised to see him playing for Queensland next year.

  4. Yep I would think so, but he better drop ome of those kilos if he wants to play State cause the reds have some good wingers at the moment,but we all know Big Dell was one of the bestin his time.  Time will tell though whether he puts in the hard work over off season or not!!!

    yer he will especially with gas and morris gone,

    the crowds cheer more when Dell touch's the ball then with the dragons actually score.

    Its great to see an icon back in the NRL and lovin his footy...

  6. Of course he will. Does anyone really believe Dell didn't know Bennet was signing with the Dragons before we did. When Dell started talking with the Dragons the future of Brown had already been decided and Bennet was already on his way south.

  7. Breaking news Matt, Wendell Sailor has just been appointed coach of the Broncos for 2009, it is on the NRL website, so I guess he may sneak into the starting line up, whaddya reckon matty boy!!!

  8. Yes Gasnier and Josh Morris are going so their is some space in the side for him.
