Will X-ray m/c induce elect. shock if m/c is set touching person's head and switched on by x-ray technician?

This kind of X-rays are taken for nasal fracture detection called X-ray of PNS.

  1. While any piece of equipment can produce an electrical shock on bare skin when patient is sitting on a metal table, in my limited experience the shock that is sometimes felt with x-ray equipment has to do with static electricity built up in the high voltage generator used in some devices.  These are the ones where one can hear a high speed rotational whine that spins back down after exposure.  This shock is high voltage, but like static sparks from a rug in cold dry weather, is very low current and is not risky in the way a current voltage from mismatched grounds would be.
