  1. IF WINDOWS XP , IS GENUINE, IT WILL NOT GIVE ANY PROBLEM AND WILL  INSTAL SMOOTHLY.

  2. When you would have asked this 3 months ago, I would suggest you not to download sp3. There were still problems with it.

    A couple of weeks ago, I have reinstalled windows xp home. I always have auto updates activated. When auto update came with sp3, I did agree and it was installed correctly. I must admit now, that there is no reason not to install SP3.  You must however have a legal copy of windows xp sp2.
