  1. Even if he was eligible for it, he wouldn't win it. He is a cocky SOB and is very very overrated. He has a good arm in the outfield, but the Yanks have better defenders and hitters in their minor league system. He will be out of NY in about 2 years and out of baseball in 5.

  2. no, did you see the routine grounder he screwed up tonight?  he sucks....

  3. all things aside he is definitely not a sensation.

  4. Not likely, since his rookie eligibility expired in 2006.

In other news, the Beatles broke up, the Allied Forces entered Berlin, and fire was discovered.

    Do try to keep up.

  5. No for 2 reasons.

    1. He's not a first year player, it's his third.

    2. His stats are terrible compared to the other leading candidates, Longoria and Ellsbury. His assists has gone down majorly and his hitting is mediocre right now.

  6. No because he is not a rookie

  7. this is like his 2nd or 3rd year

  8. Hasn't he been here for a few years?

  9. Melky isn't a Rookie.
