I do not have a tower on this Ebko boat and when there are three people in the boat, we are having a hard time towing a knee boarder and cannot tow a wake boarder. Would a tower solve this?

  1. EASILY, SHOULD PULL HIS ARM OUT OF HIS SOCKETS

  2. That engine should pull 1 or 2 wakeboarders no problem. You may be using a prop with the wrong pitch or the trim isn't adjusted properly. Check with a local marina or Ebko dealer & see what they recommend for the prop. Pitch makes a huge difference. A tower will make very little difference if any at all.

  3. even with that smaller motor, you should easily be able to tow both a knee boarder and a wakeboarder.  One thing though, it really does depend on the skiier's ability - if they do not know how to get up, and they fight the boat while trying to get up, it might take a minute or two to plane out.

    Some tips:

Make sure engine is trimmed ALL THE WAY DOWN

Have everyone in the boat sit in the bow, or as far forward as possible until the skiier is up

if you still have trouble, you can buy a different prop - to give you a little added power
