Will a 190 tire fit on my 2004 r6?

It will go on the rim, but the profile of the tire will not be optimum for cornering. You will reduce the contact patch when leaned over. The tire will be heavier, more unsprung weight, slower bike.

It will fit but you'll need to remove your chain guard or it'll rub.  Contrary to the what the first two guys answered a 190 WILL give you a larger contact patch in turns, but your better off sticking to the 180 on your R6.

I'm sure it'll fit, but there are NO benefits to this. But, it you don't mind making your bike slower on the straights and in turns then go right ahead.....

Edit: the genious below reminds us that you get a bigger contact patch in turns. Sorry, Vince, you don't know what you're talking about.
