Will a 1990 ford 5.0 mustang world class T5 5 speed transmission fit my 96 mustang gt?

i need another tranny so will this smoothly fit right on my transs. w/out any problems? thankz

  1. No, the Pilot shart is shorter on the new transmission.  They made this change in 1994.  You can go ahead and pull the shaft off your 96 and install it on the 1990 with a bit of effort.


  2. no the 5.0 trans will not bolt up to the 4.6 motor.
