Will a 1994 S10 4.3 motor fit in a 1996 blazer. the blazer has a vortec 4.3 it is automatic and is the S10.?

the blazer says 4.3 vortec and the S10 does not say vortec on valve covers that I can see. blazer is auto. 4x4. S10 is a 2 wheel drive auto. thanks in advance. clay.

can you use a 1999 trans and transfer case in a 1996 s10 4x4  if you use both  is the trans, the same in a 1996 4x4 s10 and a 1999 4x4 s10 are do I have to use both
