Will a 25 year old bottle of smirnoff vodka make me sick?

I just inherited a 25 year old bottle of vodka,lol its a year older than i am. But i am wondering if it's going to be ok to drink or will it make me sick. I've looked all over the internet and can't find any answers. also, will it get stonger with age?

  1. Buy a new bottle and sell the old one on ebay.  Some people will buy anything.


  2. If its unopened, it's fine.

    It didn't get stronger.  If anything, it would get weaker since the alcohol can evaporate easier than water.  

  3. If anything it will get weaker as the alcohol evaporates.  It might taste lousy, to boot, but it won't hurt you.

No, alcohol without dairy added to it (like Bailey's or Kaluha) doesn't go bad.  It won't get stronger though.  Depending on how it's sealed will depend on how much has evaporated from the bottle, but the first thing to evaporate would be the alcohol, so the alcohol content will decrease if anything.
