Will a 3.6v 3600mAh battery work in my PSP?

I own a PSP Slim (PSP-2001) and the battery that comes with it is a 3.6v 1200mAh. Since this battery doesnt last long (well not long enough for me) i am looking to buy a new battery. I found a battery on ebay that is a 3.6v 3600mAh. My question is would this battery work with my psp?
