Will a 3" mini DVD or dvr work on my regular DVD player?

The reason I ask is because I am looking in to buying a dvd recorder, and I prefer to have one that records directly onto a cd, so that I can just pop it into my dvd player fro viewing. Can anyone please tell me if I can play a "mini dvr" in my dvd player. Please answer I really want to purchase a new camera soon for a graduation!!

Yes... check to make sure there is a "mini" cd/dvd impression on your tray (to hold the smaller size-many do, mine does), and if so then it will work. Remember cd/dvd's read from the inside out so it will pick up the information as soon as inserted.
